This Police car is an example of a side swipe repair. The impact was down the right side of the car. This repair was a high priority as it was needed in Tampa for the Convention. To make this repair… First all pin striping was removed and damaged areas were ground down to bear metal. All areas were then repaired and then painted with primer. Next the primer was sanded and the rear bumper was prepped. We then put the car in the paint booth and it was masked and readied for painting. We then used our custom mix of Standox Paint mixed in house in our computerized mixing room. The car was painted and then 2 separate coats of clear coat were applied and allowed to dry in one of our two Spray-Tech booths. The car was then reassembled and re-pinstriped and was then available for the convention in Tampa.
